The situation
A small in-house team owns a product the roadmap has outgrown. Hiring is slow and each candidate takes a quarter to close. The founder needs more hands, but every new vendor is another security questionnaire, and the company cannot widen access to anything sensitive. The work itself is ordinary product engineering; the constraint is how it's done.
What we do
- Work only inside the client's cloud and repositories, with least-privilege roles scoped to the tickets in hand, revocable in one click.
- Build and test against synthetic or de-identified data; no production data on our machines, and no access to production stores unless the client explicitly grants it for a defined task.
- Deliver features as reviewed pull requests the in-house lead merges, so the client's own review stays the last gate.
- One weekly call, written daily updates, and an overlap window every US morning; everything else is async across time zones.
- Scale from one engineer to a pod as the roadmap demands, month to month.
